Lemon-Aid is ongoing writing mentorship for writers who are new to publishing and want a thoughtful team in their corner.

Your first month starts with an intake call and a high-level look at your existing work.

Each month, you'll get feedback and light editing on up to two pieces, plus up to two calls with us. Use that time to talk through writing, new ideas, publishing questions, submissions, or whatever you're working on. Depending on what you need, we'll also stay in touch by email between calls, with accountability, reading recommendations, writing prompts, or a quick sounding board when you're stuck.

As your body of work grows, we'll help you notice patterns and think about where the work might go—whether that's Substack, literary journals, magazines, or eventually a book.

We'll also advise on bios, pitches, and cover letters.

Our philosophy

You're already a writer. Our goal is to help you develop confidence in your writing and in sharing your work.

We'll pay attention to your strengths, ask questions that help you articulate your own taste and goals, and help you find opportunities that make sense for the work you're creating.

A note on publishing

We can help you understand the publishing landscape and make informed choices about where to take your work. But we don't guarantee publication, acceptance by a journal or magazine, or a book deal. We can't submit or publish work on your behalf.

You make the work. We'll be there to help you develop it and figure out what comes next.

Lemon-Aid is month-to-month, with no long-term commitment.
